About The Dentists

Drs. Eric and Deidre Wilson are a husband-and-wife team passionate about the advancement of evidence-based dentistry while still retaining a patient-centered small-town family dentist feel. Each doctor has unique experience and residency training while continuing to hone his or her skills in dentistry to provide their patients with the highest level of care. The doctors often collaborate on diagnosis and treatment giving patients the benefit of a second opinion without the time or cost.

Eric T. Wilson DDS - General Dentist

Dr. Wilson grew up in Rural Retreat, VA on his family's sheep and cattle farm. From a young age dentistry has been his calling. After attending Virginia Tech for his BS degree, Dr. Wilson went to VCU School of Dentistry for his DDS degree. In 2014 Dr. Wilson completed a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Juneau, Alaska and has been practicing in Wytheville ever since. Dr. Wilson enjoys family based dental practice with emphasis on whole body health.

Deidre S. Wilson DDS - General Dentist

Dr. Wilson grew up in Charlottesville, VA and knew from age 10 she wanted to be a dentist. She attended Clemson University, where she became a devoted Tiger fan and earned her BS degree in Microbiology. Her education took her to VCU School of Dentistry, where she earned a DDS degree in 2016 and met Dr. Eric Wilson. Following dental school, Dr. Wilson went on to complete a 1-year hospital-based General Practice Residency at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA. She then moved to practice dentistry in Wytheville at Wilson Dental. Drs. Wilson married in June 2019. Dr. Wilson enjoys making her practice a family-based practice including patients of all ages and those with the most special of healthcare needs.
